What It’s Like Living in Colorado | October Vibes

Fall has fully arrived, and this month I’ve been taking every chance I can to get outside. Even if it’s just for a couple of hours after work. I am still new to Colorado. Every week’s shift in the weather feels brand new to me. Every bit of color change also feels like something brand new.

Calm Mornings by the Water

One of the best parts of my week is catching the sunrise at my local wildlife reservoir. The sky gets this amazing mix of pink and orange while I brew my coffee in my Yeti French Press. I love feeling the morning sun warm my skin as I watch the animals wake up and start their day.

After Work Escapes

A few days a week, I enjoy going for drives to explore and escape the city. I take my portable fire pit, relax with the sunset, and find peaceful spots to enjoy quiet moments.

Finding a Rhythm in Change

What’s surprised me most about living here is how much wildlife shares our space. It’s common to see herds of elk and deer in the fields. Prairie dogs are often in open areas. You can also see eagles, hawks, and wild turkeys. It feels like people and nature are living together in harmony.

As the temperature drops and days shorten, I enjoy the quieter moments. Each adventure shows me why I love documenting life here—the simplicity, scenery, and small bursts of color each week.
